KS1 Workshops

Astronaut George Storytime

Astronaut George

Astronaut George Storytime has been developed specifically for 3 to 5 year olds and is ideal for reception classes that would like to visit the National Space Centre.

Note: Unfortunately this workshop is not available for outreach.

Combining stories, astronaut presentation, songs and trails, this is a fun and enjoyable way for young children to continue their early educational development. You will also get the chance to see a special interactive animation about the planets and even meet our very own Astronaut George!

One supervisory adult is permitted free per 3 children. Prices are £7.50 per child.

These activities have been developed in line with the Early Years curriculum and Foundation Stage areas of learning and development and cover aspects of:

Communication, Language and Literacy

Knowledge and Understanding of the World

Creative Development
