Halloween arrives with a BANG!

So this week has been a busy start to the new term with lots of exciting workshops taking place around the Space Centre and even Primary Teacher, Space science training full day workshops too. Somehow between all these activities we have also managed to fit in some testing for our new October half term theme of Spooky science.

We have got lots of exciting things planned from the free drop in slime making sessions where you can make the gooiest, slipperiest green slime you have ever seen, to take home, to our live talks and demonstrations in our Spooky Lab. Here one of our mad scientists will be concocting strange and spooky formulas and attempting to create our very own monster. Don't forget to bring your cameras to snap a picture of him if you can!

Our very own planetarium will be turned into the plane-scarium for the holidays, where you will see the stars and constellations in a whole new way, with the addition of pumpkins, witches and gooey eyeballs. So come and find out more between, 20 October to 4 November, if you dare!
