Celebrating the first crewed Apollo Mission

 Thursday 11 October 2018 marks the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Apollo 7 mission, in which three astronauts flew into space on an Apollo spacecraft for the first time. This key mission marks the beginning of countdown to the 50th anniversary of landing on the Moon on 20 July 2019. Join us for a day celebrating the Apollo 7 mission and find out more about the astronauts, the spacecraft, and the key moments in NASA’s race to the Moon.
