Now there is a simple way you can take part from your own classroom through an e-Mission or a Video Conference.

Virtual Classroom is a great way to bring the National Space Centre to your school and doesn't necessarily require much equipment.

With just a webcam, microphone, computer and a broadband connection, your students can work together to complete challenges and evacuate residents in danger, all coordinated through our Mission Commanders here at the National Space Centre.

Once you have booked your mission date we will arrange a free test connection to ensure your video conference runs smoothly.

  • 1 hour video conference: £125.00
  • 30 min video conference: £70.00
  • Operation Space Station: £210.00
  • Operation Montserrat: £360.00

We offer other videoconferencing sessions, covering topics such as The Solar System, Living and Working in Space and Ask the Expert.

The below video conferences all last an hour, and take place in your own classroom.

I am so happy I got chosen for this wonderful experience, I gained lots of teamwork and communication skills. Also I enjoyed the suspense of the situation at hand. Adyam Mehari, year 9 student
