Home Education Day
The National Space Centre’s Education team is hosting a full day of talks, workshops and tours of the Centre to home schooled children.
Suitable for children from age 6 to 14, sessions will allow children and adults (children remain the responsibility of accompanying adults at all times) to work together to achieve their own learning goals.
We now also offer SEND specific sessions to allow us to be able to cater for all visitors interested in taking part in our home education sessions!
- You must have one adult minimum on a Home Education Day visit, which can supervise up to three children (all three children must be in the same age group).
Included in your trip:
- Space trail - downloadable trail for you to follow and complete at your leisure
- Workshop - timed session focused on the curriculum
- Live talk - space themed talk
- Planetarium show - curriculum based show

Please note: any additional adults and children visiting with a home education group are subject to standard entry costs if they are not a paid child/accompanying adult for Home Education Day. We cannot guarantee that additional adults can accompany home education children and their allocated adult for any sessions during the day.
