Astronaut George Storytime

Astronaut George Storytime has been developed specifically for Early Years Foundation Stage, Lower KS1 (Nursery/Reception/Year 1) and is ideal for reception classes that would like to visit the National Space Centre.

Note: Unfortunately this workshop is not available for outreach.

Join us on an exciting adventure with our very own Astronaut George! Using storytelling, songs and trails, young children will get a chance to explore the centre, learn all about the planets, and journey through an interactive animated story with Astronaut George. This fun filled day will help young children to continue developing their early years education, and they’ll even get a chance to meet Astronaut George too!

One supervisory adult is permitted free per 3 children. Prices are £8.50 +VAT per child.

These activities have been developed in line with the Early Years curriculum and Foundation Stage areas of learning and development and cover aspects of:

Communication and Language

Literacy

Understanding the World
