The Great Rocket Challenge

With a small budget students must work together to design, construct and launch a rocket to the Moon. The craft must be designed based on strict criteria, using only materials purchased with their budget. Which team will win the Great Rocket Challenge?

Students will work together in teams of 3 to 6, to design and build the best rocket they can. The workshop concludes with a competition, with points awarded for performance against the mission objectives, to identify the best team of rocket designers.
